The Great Social Enterprise pitch is a special endeavor launched 4 years ago by the Lancaster Community Foundation and Assets, which is designed to promote social enterprises. The “Pitch” is a business plan competition for ideas “that use a business model and revenues to have a positive social or environmental impact in the Lancaster community.”
For the past 3 years, Blakinger Thomas has donated legal services to one of the award recipients in an effort to support local small business that is socially responsible and community-minded.
This year, Blakinger Thomas is excited to be working with Bridge, the winner of the 2017 “Pitch”. Bridge is a platform where people can book cultural experiences with local refugees. The goal of Bridge is to create a connected community and also provide refugees a way to earn supplemental income. Lean more about Bridge at www.bridgepossible.com.
