The Lancaster County Register of Wills Office is utilizing a virtual probate process to continue to open estates during the court closure resulting from COVID-19. In his capacity as Chair of the Lancaster Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Law Section, Blakinger Thomas shareholder Charles H. Rieck worked with Lancaster County Register of Wills Anne Cooper to formulate the procedures for the virtual probate process that has allowed estates to be opened.
