Kira is an associate at Blakinger Thomas. She is a member of the firm’s Business group and Banking & Finance group.
Born in India, Kira was raised in the United States and grew up in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Prior to attending law school, Kira worked in a wide variety of jobs relating to public policy and community affairs. Kira is passionate about developing cross cultural competency in the legal profession by striving to identify and understand the values and behaviors of individuals in order to best address their needs.
Kira received her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle. While in law school, she clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office and was a certified legal intern with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office. Kira served as President of the Student Bar Association, as a member of Dickinson Law’s Moot Court, and participated in the National Immigration Law Moot Court Competition.
