S. Whitney Rahman

Whitney is a shareholder at Blakinger Thomas and the Chair of the Employment and Labor groups where she advises employers on all aspects of employment and labor law.

Whitney has handled issues relating to harassment, employer best practices, collective bargaining, wage and hour, wrongful discharge, discrimination, wage payment and collection law, COBRA, employee training, handbooks and policies, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the National labor Relations Act. She also assists landlords with civil rights housing issues.  She has represented employers in federal and state courts, before federal and state administrative agencies and in alternative dispute resolution.  She is a frequent writer and speaker to business associations and human resource groups.
